The participation of women in Olympic handball has been a constant focus for OHI. However, it was never overseen by a dedicated development committee until qualified volunteers became available, and a change in the international youth competition structure was made. Thanks to this, we started a development project dedicated to women in Handball.

Graduated in 2016 in Brazil and holding a post-graduation in Sports Management, Caroline has experience not only with sports but also in administrative roles. Caroline teaches Olympic Handball in after school programmes, and assists in public projects in the development of Olympic Handball.
As Women in Sport Development Officer with the Irish Olympic Handball Association Caroline's mission is to develop the sport in Ireland with a focus on the Women in Sport project.
