Olympic Handball is a fast-paced, exciting team sport that combines elements of soccer, basketball, and netball. It’s an excellent way for students to develop physical fitness, teamwork, and strategic thinking.
Played on a court with two teams of seven players each, the objective of handball is to score goals by throwing the ball into the opposing team’s net.
To help you get started, the IHF have created a comprehensive School Handball Guide. This guide covers everything you need to know to introduce handball in your school, from basic rules to lesson planning.
