The battle for Celtic pride continues.
Oriam, Edinburgh, Scotland
Each year, Ireland’s top Olympic Handball clubs face off against the best from Scotland in the Celtic Cup — an annual cross-border competition that’s fast becoming a highlight of the handball calendar. It’s about more than just silverware; it’s a contest for national pride and recognition on the court.
The tournament begins with a round-robin Group Stage, where clubs from both countries compete to secure a place in the Final 4 Weekend — the knockout stage that determines this season’s champions.
Oriam Stadium, Edinburgh | 15–16 November 2025
The 2025 Group Stages will be hosted in Scotland’s national sports performance centre, Oriam Stadium. Over two days, teams will play for position and progression, with every match influencing the path to the Final 4, scheduled to take place in Ireland in 2026.
